Enthusiasm. When I think of that word, my wife comes to mind. She is one of the most enthusiastic people I have ever met. It is what I love about her. It is a quality within myself that I would like to work on. It is an attractive energy and it feels good. Enthusiasm, joy and amusement are all at the top of our range of emotions. When you are vibrating at these emotions you create space and movement for yourself. 

They say laughter is some of the best medicine out there. When you are vibrating in amusement, your ability to release negative energy greatly increases. Have you ever looked at someone laughing? Their spirit is present. Have you ever looked at someone that is depressed? Their energy is just not there. Sitting at the top of your emotional range gives permission for spirit. 

How do you get happy? Well, I think being healthy is a good foundation, but essentially I think that when you are operating on your energy and it is moving freely, your permission to be happy is high. Think about it. If you are living in an environment you don’t like, working a job you don’t like, operating the way others want you to, can’t have romance or are stuck in a bad relationship and are subscribing to someones negative viewpoint of the world and life, well, your permission for happiness might be very low. You may be running on someone elses energy. What if you were running on your energy?

What is your energy like? What if you started working towards living in a place you love, found a job that fits like a glove (boo ya!), did things your way, fell in love with someone amazing and shifted your view of yourself, the world and others. It’s not something that necessarily happens overnight, but you can take steps to move in that direction. 

Being happy is a choice. You can choose to be happy or you can sit in those lower emotions and remain stuck. When you are in the lower emotions it will always feel like there is no way out or there is not point to anything. Bull shit! There is a way out and there is a point to your life. The answer is within yourself. Discover your energy. Heal with your energy. Climb back up to enthusiasm, joy and amusement!

It’s time to get angry!

We have all experienced depression at some point, but when you are consistently down in the dumps, that is when there may be an issue. Depression is a low energy and vibration. It is difficult to experience change at that level. Typically, you are stuck in the, “what is the point,” energy. So, it is not exactly fun times when you are depressed – how do you get of out it? Well, there are numerous ways, but one way is through anger. Anger? Fuck yeah!

Perhaps it is time to get pissed. Aren’t you tired of feeling lousy? Aren’t you tired of nothing changing? Get angry! It is your body, your emotions and your life! Now, don’t get anger confused with hate. All I am saying is that you can go to the gym and run on anger. Hell, you could go grocery shopping and walk around vibrating in anger and it is absolutely no problem. Being angry doesn’t mean you are being violent. When you start getting angry, things start to shift. Usually when you are angry, people give you space. Maybe space is what you are needing.

When you are depressed you are shutdown. There isn’t any movement. With anger, you begin to regain movement and space. It can be a relief. Now, I’m not necessarily saying you should find your anger and stay angry, but if you aren’t even able to access your anger – you may want to look into it. If you can get angry, then amusement and joy aren’t too far off in the distance.

If you have difficulty finding your anger, just fake it until you make it. When you are depressed, it will always feel like you can’t get out of it. Bullshit! Go to the gym, get moving, find a punching bag and build your anger. Do I think fighting with anger is smart. No. I’m just saying that going to a gym, moving your body around, getting your energy in movement and sparking up your anger just may be the thing you’re needing. Hell, I can sit in meditation and run the energy of my anger. What!? That doesn’t sound like meditation? Meditation is all about centering yourself and peace, and love and flowers. I like to keep meditation real. Anger is an emotion. It can be useful. Learn to tap into it and run it – just don’t let it run YOU.

Healing your Memories

We all have a few memories that contain a lot of resistance. Maybe it is something someone said or something they did. It could be as simple as a conversation or something very traumatic. Despite the experience being in the past, you still have a memory with negative energy attached to it. The usual suspects are pain, punishment and invalidation. Now, if you have a memory that you never healed from, for example, you never found forgiveness or neutrality, then a good question to ask is, how is that memory still impacting your life today?

Do you have issues with getting safe and grounded? Do you have difficulty trusting yourself and others? If you have a recurring issue arise throughout your life, it is possible that you may have a particular memory that has not been cleared. Finding your freedom is like peeling back the layers of an onion. There may be numerous memories that you have look through before finding the root cause. This is usually not a fun and easy process. Normally we just want to forget the pain and move on, but sometimes it is necessary going all the way back in time and confronting it. The healing is not so much about forgetting, but is about de-charging the core memory. Letting go all the resistance, pain and invalidation can be a great relief and even life changing. Some tools that help with the healing process are forgiveness, neutrality and amusement. 

All healing is self-healing. When I do energy work with clients all I am doing is working with the energy of forgiveness and giving them permission to release. It is up to the client on how much they are willing to let go. Coming to a point where you can find forgiveness, acceptance and amusement with a dark time in your life can seem impossible and maybe even absurd, but healing is a choice. You can remain in the role of a victim or you can you build up your courage, overcome and take back your personal power. I believe in the human spirit. I believe that we are all stronger than our greatest limitation. It is just a matter of finding that inner strength. Maybe you don’t have anyone in your life that believes in you, but you can believe in yourself.
