OBE & Lucid Dream

Leave a comment Standard

Okay, so this morning I had the longest and most stable lucid dream yet. To be clear, even though this was a breakthrough for me, I certainly wasn’t reaching my full potential with lucid dreaming.

I got about seven hours of sleep and woke up. I had difficulty going back to sleep and was up for almost two hours before I was able to return to sleep. I can recall a few different scenes from non lucid dreams, but then something interesting happened. I found myself in a very vivid dream where I was in a room with a television mounted to a wall. There was three dimensional character who had red skin and was popping out of the TV. I could not see my dream body nor could I move. The dream character annoyed me and the fact that I could not move was very frustrating. Suddenly I found myself just outside of my physical body looking at my head & part of my face. I must have been in sleep paralysis because I could not move, however, I could feel myself moving what I imagine were my astral arms. I was swinging them wildly and clapping my hands.

From here I went into a lucid dream. I looked up to the sky and saw buildings that looked familiar. They were buildings that I have seen when I was living in Chicago. Like many other dreams I’ve had in the past I just immediately and effortlessly began flying. I had the intention of teleporting to the top of a building but it wasn’t working, so I did not have full control in this lucid dream. As I got closer the building began to look very colorful and almost cartoon like.

In another scene of this lucid dream I was in an apartment building and saw two people approaching their door. I opened my hand and decided to spawn something, but didn’t have a specific intention and what manifested was oatmeal – haha. I was going to show this to the two dream characters however I decided against it and moved on. I was walking out the building and noticed a dog and then suddenly I realized I had a dog, but left the dog to be free and I ran off to fly in the sky, but I fell flat on my face and started laughing.

I was trying to use certain commands in the lucid dream but they were not working. I experienced a few scene transitions and during one of them I though I was going to fade out and just wake up in bed, but that didn’t happen which was a pleasant surprise. I was initially surprised by the fact that flying didn’t wake me up in bed. At one point I was trying to manifest  a quiet room to meditate in, but that never managed to happen. In previous lucid dreams my goal has been to mediate but I never am able to pull it off. This is still my goal though. I want to stabilize the dream, meditate and then dissolve the lucid dream and astral project.

Anyway, I experienced myself performing numerous reality checks where I was trying to put one hand through the other hand. I never saw this happening but I could feel it happening and knew that’s what I was doing. I never put my hand all the way through though. All I did was put my hand far enough in to reconfirm that oh yes I am dreaming.

There was more to the lucid dream, but I’m not going to go into the entire experience, but this was definitely a breakthrough for me. I think what I am going to try to do now is sleep for about six hours, stay awake for an hour, maybe even use that time to mediate and then return to sleep for an additional two hours with the intention of lucid dreaming. I feel pretty confident that this will work, so I will definitely report back with results.

Astral Projection vs Lucid Dreaming: Part III

I am on a journey of growing, healing, changing and learning. And I have to say – I love it.    I am open to letting old ways of thinking go. I think you kind of have to be if you are going to be diving into lucid dreaming and astral projection. Your perception will evolve…

I have to be honest this is a work in progress. The way in which I am basing my thoughts around all of this are on; my own experiences, using my clairvoyance and listening to others in regards to their experiences. So, where am I at these days on my theory in regards to astral projection and lucid dreaming?

I think that with both lucid dreaming and astral projection you are having an out of body experience, however, with lucid dreaming you are having a dream while on the astral, whereas an astral projection you are just simply on the astral. With that said, this if the following list I have created that I think will impact your experience while out of body:

  1. Are you dreaming?
  2. How conscious are you?
  3. Are you a point of light or do you have a fully developed astral body?
  4. Where are you on the astral? (lower levels, higher levels)
  5. Have you gone beyond this life-time? (after-life)
  6. What aspect of your soul are you operating from? (reasoning self or the higher-self?)

If you take dreaming out of the equation, then majority of this list pertains to astral projection, but this list of questions, in my opinion, will definitely impact the type of out of body experience you are having.

As I look more at this clairvoyantly and have more experiences this list may or may not change. What are your thoughts on all of this?

Why I want to have OOBE’s…

Leave a comment Standard

Out of body experiences. Why? Well, because I have to. I have to. The moment I got into spirituality I wanted to astral project. I tried once and failed back in 2006 or 2007 and eventually found a psychic school where I focused on meditation, clairvoyance and energy healing. This school though was all about being IN the body. Sure there was some discussion and classes in regards to the astral, but most of the classes and trainings were about being present and in your physical body.  It is exactly what I needed at that time in my life and I will continue to use what I learned there the rest of my life. It is also helping me in my process of learning to lucid dream & have OOBE’s.

Some may wonder why someone would even want to do this. Lately, I have wondered the same for myself. Why do I want to do this? It feels the same when I signed up for my first clairvoyant training. I didn’t really know what I was getting into, but I knew I had to do it. This is just something I have to do. There is so much to explore, so much to learn and that is what excites me. I have used my clairvoyance and saw many mental image pictures about astral projection, but only have had a few out of body experiences. I want to do more than just see it, I want to experience it and that is what I am set out to do.

Here is a current list of things I would like to experience out of the body:

  1. I have already had an OOBE and saw my physical body, but I would like to experience this again.
  2. I want to meditate out of body. I want to know what it feels like running energy, getting grounded and using psychic abilities.
  3. I want to explore the planet and the rest of the universe.
  4. I want to gain a better understanding of my soul totality.
  5. I want to gain a better understanding of the astral.
  6. I want to learn the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection.
  7. I want to visit my akashic records and explore it.
  8. I want to go to my threshold, the place where we go in between life-times.
  9. I want to explore more of my past-lives.
  10. I want to go back in time on the planet and I want to go into the future.
  11. I want to communicate with other beings on the astral.
  12. I want to continue to heal myself.
  13. I want to conquer certain fears I hold onto.
  14. I want to practice playing musical instruments while on the astral.
  15. I want to enhance my creativity.

I could probably think of more but this is a good list to start off with. I have many goals and many things I would like to experience, but I know this is a process. It is going to take some time just figuring the best method for me to have OOBE’s and then it may take some time to have them more frequently and for longer periods of time. I am 3.5 months into my journey of learning lucid dreaming and astral projection and I am stoked. There are times it can be incredibly frustrating but this is just one of those things I can’t let go. This practice really teaches you patience and commitment. Years ago I probably wouldn’t have been ready for this, but now… I am.

Latest thoughts on Lucid Dreaming vs Astral Projection

Comments 3 Standard

Okay so I recently uploaded a podcast about my latest theory in regards to lucid dreaming and astral projection. In a previous blog I wrote on how I think they are essentially the same, but thought that the approach was different. Anyway, as I like to keep an open mind throughout this journey and with that said – my thoughts have changed about this subject.

I can’t remember but in a recent blog or podcast I mentioned that there are three factors in which I believe that will affect your experience:

  1. how conscious are you?
  2. are you a point of light or do you have a fully formed astral body?
  3. where are you on the astral?

After further research and looking at this clairvoyantly, I think that I am missing another factor:

  1. Are you in a dream?

Regardless of lucid dreaming or astral projection, I have always thought you were out of body, but now I do see more of a difference between these two and that is the last factor – are you in a dream?

What I think is that when you are leaving your body to go dream, you generate a dream through intention which then forms into a mental image picture and then once you are out onto the astral it manifests into a dream. I think with lucid dreaming, you are simply just aware you are in a dream, but perhaps not fully conscious that you are in a dream ON the astral. So of course this goes back to the first factor.

I imagine though the experience of being in a dream on the astral vs just being out on the astral is a different experience. The interesting thing here is that while you are in a lucid dream, what if you just dissolve the dream and end up on the astral? Some people report using lucid dreams to go back to their body during sleep paralysis then relaunch into the astral. I have also heard of someone being in a lucid dream and just ending or dissolving the dream to just be out on the astral.

Anyway, these are my latest thoughts on these subjects. I will continue to keep an open mind throughout this journey as i gain more experience, do more research and look at it all clairvoyantly.
